How Our Holiday Gift Drive Supports Families at BC Children’s Hospital

Families across British Columbia face stressful and unexpected moments when a child needs care at BC Children’s Hospital. During the holiday season, even simple tasks like picking up groceries or grabbing a meal can feel difficult.

The Kirmac Cares for Kids Gift Drive was created to offer support during these challenging times. This campaign invites our community to donate digital gift cards to give kids in care the gift of choice this holiday season. The drive runs until December 20, and every contribution matters. Kirmac will also match every donation to double the impact for kids in care.*

Digital gift cards give families flexibility. Parents can choose what they need most, whether it is groceries, gas, coffee, meals, or a gift that brings comfort. Your gift helps create moments of normalcy during long and emotional days.

How to Participate

Joining the drive takes only a few minutes.

2. Select a retailer and purchase a digital gift card

3. Enter [email protected] as the recipient

4. Add an optional message of encouragement

These messages are shared with the hospital and remind families that the community is thinking of them.

Community Trees Across BC

Each of our 22 BC locations will feature a community tree where donors can add an ornament with their name and message. After the campaign, all ornaments will be delivered to BC Children’s Hospital to brighten family spaces.
